Yes, that’s a great one, too. Kind of reminds me of the YSL quote. Susie Bubble has that Chanel quote as her tag line.

can’t remember it exactly but Valentino said something like what a woman wants to wear most is the embrace of the man she’s in love with

Not from a designer, but I love the facetiousness of this quote from Oscar Wilde: Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.

#6 is one of the classics and it’s featured in the trailer for his movie which I’m dying to see. Except it reads “Fashion fades; love is eternal” (a little twist)
A wonderful post! DVF always has such a strong, yet feminine, viewpoints, as to remind us that being a woman is not a consolation prize.
